The Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology has the advanced and extensive infrastructure that is available at a full-service hospital. We cover the entire spectrum of clinical dermatological services: ward units for surgical dermatology, dermato-oncology and allergology, modern operating theatres, a range of laser-based therapies, a phototherapy unit, and an outpatient unit with numerous specialist consultation sessions for tumour patients and patients with allergies. Specialist therapeutic and diagnostic techniques include: surgical dermatology (sentinel lymph node biopsy, acne inversa, hyperhidrosis), phlebosurgery (endoluminal laser therapy), special anaesthetic procedures (tumescent anaesthesia), photodynamic diagnosis and therapy, specific immune therapies in allergology, and ultrasound methods including colour-coded duplex sonography.
